You can, and plenty of people do. But most end up buying near home, buying on emotion, or missing the markets where the real growth is happening. A buyers agent gives you access to off-market deals, objective data analysis, and hard negotiation that most buyers simply can't replicate on their own. The question isn't whether you could do it. It's whether the cost of getting it wrong is worth saving on fees.
We charge a fixed fee, not a percentage of the purchase price. You'll know exactly what you're paying before we start, with no surprises at settlement. In most cases our fee is tax deductible as a cost of acquiring an investment property, and the right property secured at the right price will return far more than the fee in the first year of ownership alone.
'Safer' depends on the specific market. What we look for are regional areas with genuine infrastructure investment, population growth, tight vacancy rates, and strong local employment drivers. Not just cheap prices. The right regional market offers better yields than capital cities at a lower entry price, which means better cashflow and stronger serviceability for your next purchase.
